How Far Can Your Cable Car Go?
This is my bar graph that I created on google docs about our Cable Car Experiment.
Tyler's Cable Car travelled the furthest with a total of 8 metres.
Fine's Cable Car travelled the shortest distance with a total of 3 metres.
Miss Chapman, Piripi, Kifi and Pace travelled the same distance with a total of 7 metres I really enjoyed when we made our cable cars especially letting the balloon go I hope you like reading my statement on Room 5 Cable Car Experiment.

Flying free Emerald Group By Caitlin
Week 2
Emerald Group 1
Title: Flying Free School Journal Part 3, Number 1, 2010
Learning Intention: I am learning to retell the text back from the beginning, middle and end.
1. Describe the kites up in the sky?
Red and Black lizard tugs at it’s string
2. What’s wrong with Anna?
She has a broken leg
3. Why was Anna grumpy?
Anna would like to gone too but her cast is to heavy
4. Why did Anna like the bird kite?
It is thinner than the other bird kites and can fly more higher
5. What does Anna see at night?
Anna sees the bird kite again as she’s falling asleep. She sees its sharp beak and narrow head
6. Why couldn’t Anna go outside and why?
When her leg sweats it gets itchy
7. How does Anna spend her time?
She makes a bird kite
8. What materials does Anna use?
She finds some left over nylon. It wasn’t the right colour but red and green will do Anna finds a packet of neddles and matching cottons.
9. Why was Anna feeling worried?
She might not be able to launch it without help
10. Describe the process in flying the kite. She was happy with what she made because it was flying high
11. Why was Anna feeling happy?
The kite flies now and soon becomes a red and green bird. It was flying higher and higher
12. What did Anna imagine at the end of the story?
Anna imagines herself flying over houses, roads, parks and hills.

Room 5's Paper Plane Challenge
Today Room 5 had so much fun measuring our Paper Planes on the court. We had to make paper planes and we had to see who can fly their Paper Plane the furthest. Piripi threw his paper dart the furthest he had a nice smooth throw and had a total of 11.16 metres. San Tat's plane landed at shortest measurement with a total of 2 metres.

1. Are you pleased with your origami crane? why?
Yes because it was really fun doing it and the finished results
were really good
2. What part did you find easy? why / why not?
Folding the paper into half and quarters because I
have done it before
3. What part did you find tricky / difficult? Why / why not?
Folding the paper into little triangles because all you have to do
is grab the little pointy bit and fold it up
4. Who / What helped you in making your Origami Crane?
Following the instructions and Isabella helped me
5. What would you do differently next time? Think about folding,
listening, persistence (not giving up) etc.
Listening to the instructions so that my paper crane could look perfect
