Little Red Riding Hood by Caitlin

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time lived a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a cottage near Bunny Woods with her mother. It wasn’t very big but it was comfortable. Little Red Riding Hood loved her red hood because she had it ever since she was born. One day her mother found out that Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother was very sick so she made her a custard tart. The custard tart was for a yummy treat. Her mother said “My sweetheart would you please take this to your grandmother’s house she is very sick”. “Please remember don’t talk to any strangers on the way to Grandma’s”. She replied back to mother “Ok mother anything to help grandmother”. She was on her way to her grandmother’s house when suddenly she stumbled into a wolf, he saw the basket of food and asked “Where are you taking that food to?” he asked suspiciously. She said to the wolf “My Grandmother isn’t feeling very well so I am taking this Custard Tart to my Grandmother”. The wolf then said ”Would you like me to tell your Grandmother that you are on your way?”. Little Red Riding Hood said” Yes that would be lovely”. The wolf walked away quickly because he saw the wood cutter coming to cut wood. She carried on walking through Bunny Woods but she stopped to pick some flowers for her grandma. The wolf was running as fast as the wind to get to Grandma’s house. When he was finally there, he knocked on the door. He disguised his voice to sound like a little girl “ Hello Grandma, it is me Little Red Riding Hood”. Grandma replied “ Come in”. The wolf walked in grandma’s house and swallowed her whole. Little Red Riding hood opened the door and said to the wolf . “What big ears you have and What big teeth you have”. “All the better to eat you with my dear”. The wolf swallowed her whole. The wood cutter saw the wolf in Grandma’s house. He ran like an excited cheetah he finally catched the wolf. The woodcutter kicked the door open and saw him swallow Little Red Riding Hood whole. The wolf screamed like a little girl help me but it was too late he knew what was going to happen. The wood cutter grabbed his axe and cut the wolf in the middle he saw Little Red Riding Hood and Grandma inside the wolf. He pulled them out and they were chearing because the wolf was gone. The bunnies finally came out and they lived happily ever after.
